A production drawing from the Walt Disney Studios animated film "Sleeping Beauty" (1959). Featuring Prince Phillip and his father King Hubert, embracing as Prince Phillip tells the King that he found the woman he's going to marry, the graphite drawing was created by legendary Disney animator Milt Kahl and was used during the animation process. The animation seen in Sleeping Beauty is a masterful example of the Nine Old Men's talent, and Kahl's draftsmanship is a prime example of Disney Studio's superior talent. Measuring 12.5"x15.5" overall, with the character image measuring 9"x5", the drawing is in very good condition with handling wear including wrinkling and creasing throughout.
